Who are we?
Dr Wade completed his doctoral work on
retinal imaging at University College London in the Institute of Ophthalmology
and Moorfield's Eye Hospital. He is currently studying the perception of colour
and form in the human visual cortex using functional magnetic resonance imaging
(fMRI).
Dr Dougherty completed his doctoral work in
the Psychology Department of the University of California in Santa Cruz. He
worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Ophthalmology Department at the
University of British Columbia before moving to Stanford. He is currently
working on functional brain imaging studies of deaf and dyslexic
individuals.
Isabel Jagoe worked as a magazine designer
in London and Paris before moving to the US. She is currently a graphic
designer for Think New Ideas in San Francisco. She has worked on web design
projects for many nationally-recognized clients including Levi Strauss, Avery
and Conxion.
Dr. Baseler received her doctoral degree in Vision
Science from the University of California, Berkeley. She completed a
postdoctoral fellowship in the Psychology Department at Stanford
University studying the recovery of visual function in the human brain using
fMRI. She is currently a Research Associate at the Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research
Institute in San Francisco.
